Beam Breaker NHRA Rule Update

A new rule was implemented effective Jan 1 2013 regarding the use of a beam breaker and we didn’t want any racer to be caught off guard on opening day.

General Regulations: Section 4.5 Ground Clearance

Unless otherwise permitted by Class Requirements, the installation of a “beam breaker” in front of the body is restricted to extending no farther forward than the body or bumper and must also satisfy the 3-inch ground-clearance requirement.
