NORWALK, Ohio – At four events in 2013 one of the “best, brightest and baddest women in drag racing” makes her 300 mph statement at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.
Jill Canuso, Pottstown, Pa., pilots the Hanna Motorsports Queen of Diamonds Jet Dragster into her seventh season.
After a debut of a state-of-the-art Queen of Diamonds II, with a whole new design, at the Funny Car Fox Hunt, Saturday, April 27, 2013, Jill Canuso returns for these great races:
• Mickey Mart Rewards Cavalcade of Stars presented by Budweiser, May 17-19, 2013.
• Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals, part of the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, July 4-7, 2013.
• Auto Plus Night Under Fire presented by Kelly Services, Saturday, August 10, 2013, the 50th Anniversary celebration of Summit Motorsports Park.
This week Drag Illustrated magazine listed Jill Canuso in a third annual article, “The Hottest 2013: The best, brightest and baddest women in drag racing.”
Rather than appearance, the 10 female racers chosen by Drag Illustrated exemplify hot on-track performance, and you'll recognize them, too -- Alexis DeJoria, Courtney Force, Brittany Force, Leah Pruitt...
Jill Canuso said the honor surprised her, but she felt grateful for recognition for her racing accomplishments.
