February 13- Norwalk Raceway Park is proud to announce the return of Anheuser Busch as a member of the Norwalk Family.  Bill Bader, Jr., President of Norwalk Raceway Park, announced the new sponsorship in conjunction with Maple City Ice Company, Norwalk’s local distributor for Anheuser Busch.

The aggressive marketing partnership will foster an impressive program that includes facility-naming rights, television and live audience signage, and the title sponsorship of the Funny Car Foxhunt/ Jet Car Nationals.  The partnership also includes the title rights to the IHRA Team Finals Championship where Norwalk has won an unprecedented thirteen championships.  The partnership also details numerous public address announcements throughout the season, naming rights to team uniforms, and an aggressive website promotion and rights to event displays.

In addition to the expansive marketing tools, Norwalk will partner with Anheuser Busch in a new recycling program on the property.  Anheuser Busch will supply Norwalk with recycling barrels to be located throughout the facility, promoting cleanliness and recycling for which Norwalk is proud to play a strong part.

Although the sponsorship will bring numerous benefits to both companies, Bader is most excited about returning to work with the Hipp Family.  “Anheuser-Busch has enjoyed a long, family history with Norwalk Raceway Park,” Bader said during the announcement.  “And I am proud to have the Hipp Family and Maple City Ice back in the Norwalk fold.”

Anheuser-Busch and its subsequent brands of Budweiser will become the exclusive beverages of Norwalk Raceway Park.

The Norwalk Lions Club oversees the beer distribution at the track, and all proceeds from the sale of alcohol benefit the Lions Club and their many valuable community programs.
