Night Under Fire to welcome the best and brightest of the Drag Racing World.

The 2006 Edition of Night Under Fire leaves little room for a gasp of air- usually needed for the capacity crowd that overflows Norwalk Raceway for what is often described as the Super Bowl of Drag Racing.  This year, Bill Bader Jr. has included a few new surprises for the fans, including a trip back in time to witness Top Fuel Dragsters from days gone by.

No, we’re not kidding- Dragster Dave will take on Jeff Miller in a sight not seen since the Rear Engine Dragster took over prominence in the early 1970’s.

Of course, John Force headlines eight Nitro Funny Cars, including Rookie of the Year Robert Hight, Cruz and Tony Pedregon, and Tim Wilkerson- along with two other names we will release later!

Joining the Nitro Funny Cars will be the four 300 mile an hour Jet Dragsters headlined by Jessie Harris, the twenty two year old female driver currently undefeated at Norwalk.  She will compete against Danny Sullivan and Ernie Bogue and one more driver!

Ken Nelson returns in the fan favorite Wheelstanding Cool Bus!

The 170 mile an hour Bar’s Leaks Supercharged Thunder will compete, giving fans a retrospective look back at drag racing from days gone by.

Finally, the earth shaking power of Bob Motz and his 215 mile an hour Jet Kenworth will make two passes at Night Under Fire, giving prelude to a fireworks display totaling over $100,000.
