Nostalgia Race Classes Come to Blue Suede Cruise
The Blue Suede Cruise, July 28-30, will feature an exclusive
opportunity for a select number of nostalgia racecars to compete in the first
annual PROBELL Nostalgia Race Program at Norwalk Raceway
Park.
Drivers must pre-register for the race classes they qualify under. Once
the limited field is set, pre-registrations will close. Download the
attached registration form today!
The PROBELL Nostalgia Race program is being run in conjunction with the PPG
Blue Suede Cruise at Norwalk
Raceway Park
on July 28-30, 2006. Thanks to the success of the PPG Blue Suede Cruise, racers
have asked to be included in this large event which saw over 2,000 street rods
in 2005.
The Blue Suede Cruise is Norwalk Raceway’s nostalgia event
and in keeping with this format, race cars are required to be 1972 or older
bodies; they should also appear to be “period correct” with regard to body
shape and paint schemes.
The PROBELL Nostalgia Race Program is being run on a limited basis for
2006. The classes and rules are patterned on the VRA program run on the
west coast; based upon the racer’s response to this program, we will consider
creating a separate nostalgia race event with more and larger classes.
If you have any questions and/or comments regarding this race program please contact
Pete Woodruff at Norwalk Raceway; (419) 663-0319 weekdays or evenings until
9pm. E-mail: pwoodruff@norwalkraceway.com
