Season Opener Rescheduled for May 3

Due to weather, the 25th Annual PIPO Season Opener presented by the Norwalk Reflector and Donald M. Graham & Associates has been postponed two weeks until Saturday, May 3. The rescheduled show will have the same featured racers and the giant fireworks show.

If you weren't able to make it on April 19, here's your chance to still see a tremendous show in two weeks on May 3!

All tickets, passes, and credentials from the April 19 postponed event will be honored on that date. The 25th Anniversary PIPO Season Opener presented by Donald M. Graham & Associates and The Norwalk Reflector will have racing beginning at 10:00 am. The main festivities will begin at 6:00 pm with final eliminations afterwards and a fireworks show when featured racing is over. Sportsman racing will continue into the evening. The monster truck Bigfoot is scheduled to appear along with two 280-mile-per-hour jet Funny Cars powered with a jet engine from an F-4 jet fighter. Piloting the Funny Cars will be Rich Hanna, the current world record holder for top speed, and Ken Hall.
