Cavalcade Family Fun Day tickles the tots.

Crafts and corn hole gear up activities for older kids, too!

NORWALK, Ohio – A Racers For Christ Family Fun Day hosts pedal car races on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Mickey Mart Rewards Cavalcade of Stars presented by Budweiser at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.

Many other great activities cater to kids of all ages, said Jill Goodale, chaplain for Racers for Christ.

“We want to minister to families who come to the track, and give the kids and families a chance to hear the Gospel,” Jill Goodale said. “And we’ll have fun with the kids and give them something extra to do while they’re at the track.”

The Family Fun Day group Let's go to the races!meets from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2013 near the Chalet Village on a grassy area on the Summit side of the race track, Jill Goodale said.

The pedal car races steer toward children up to about age seven, Jill Goodale said. But youth of all ages are welcome to try their hand at crafts, corn hole toss, and Bible verses.

Also, Racers For Christ hosts two chapel services – at 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. -- on Sunday, May 19, 2013 in the Media Center at Summit Motorsports Park.

Highwater, a worship team from the Glenmont, Ohio area, leads the chapel service music.

Gates open at 8 a.m. for the Mickey Mart Rewards Cavalcade of Stars presented by Budweiser, part of the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series and the new Harley-Davidson Drag Racing Series.

Chaplains Hugh and Jill Goodale welcome visitors to the Racers For Christ trailer and activities at Summit Motorsports Park, for prayer, encouragement and information about a relationship with Jesus Christ.
