The Ames Performance Tri Power Pontiac Nationals, the largest Pontiac Event in the Midwest, returns to Summit Motorsports Park, August 2-4, 2013. The event will feature both bracket and heads up drag racing and a judged car show filled with hundreds upon hundreds of unique Pontiac showstoppers, everything from pre-war to 2010!
You don’t have to be in the judged car show to park your Pontiac inside the racetrack. Enter the “High Performance Pontiac Magazine” Pontiacs on the Parade and park inside for just $20/day so others can enjoy your beauty.
The Ames Performance Tri Power Pontiac Nationals has a huge and well-established Manufacture Midway. Vendors will not only sell their products, but will gladly take the time to demonstrate and discuss how their products work and what will be best for your project.
You will have to budget your time wisely so you can walk-through the country’s largest Pontiac swap meet. Pre-entries for swap meet vendors are at a record high and is tracking to be the largest swap meet in the event’s history!
And let’s not forget, Arnie “The Farmer” Beswick, will be on site Saturday and Sunday signing autographs, reminiscing about the good ‘ole days and will make exhibition passes on the drag strip and quite possibly you will be able to witness one of his famous high speed back ups!
Gates open Friday at 9 a.m., Saturday and Sunday at 8 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at the gate $15/daily; $25 Saturday/Sunday or $35 for the weekend. For more information visit www.SummitMotorsportsPark.com/PN.
