Door Wars 2010

Sponsored by Rossler Transmissions & DeCerbo Construction

featuring the Malcuit Racing #1 Qualifier & Top Speed Bonus

2009 FC Door Wars

DOOR WARS,in 2009, became one of the two most wildly contested classes in this series. There were more competitors in Door Wars at each of the monthly sessions than we'd seen in the previous seasons, and that just continued to grow. One of the highlights of the year was watching series-long competitor and sponsor, Carl Rossler, bring home his first series victory. We expect this year to be even faster, quicker, and wilder than anything before it! What are we going to see this year? What new machinery will show up, and how much change will we see from our regulars? We'll begin to see the answers to those questions at the first outing in May! By the end of last year's Friday Night Chaos series, we were witnessing a steady stream of 3.9 second runs. What will we see this year?

Outlaw Dragster 2010

Sponsored by Koffel's Place & David Price Metal Services, Inc.

2009 FC Outlaw Dragster

Outlaw Dragster was one of the new additions to the lineup in Friday Night Chaos for 2009, and we were pleasingly surprised at the number of entries that showed up to compete. Frankly, we had some of the baddest outlaw dragsters on the planet here for each and every meet in 2009, with some of the most other-worldly performance marks we could have hoped for. On more than one occasion we had an entire qualified field below the four-second mark, and nobody was willing to give an inch during the elimination rounds. Kill or be killed was definitely the prevailing attitude! What will we see for 2010? Well, the crews that have competed in this overwhelmingly popular series know what it takes to win one of these, and having them step up to the plate is a given.

Outlaw 10.5 2010

featuring the Central Ohio Insurance Services #1 Qualifier & Top Speed Bonus

2009 FC Outlaw 10.5

OUTLAW 10.5 was another new addition to the Friday Night Chaos series for 2009, and arguably the most popular. This class represents the cutting edge of newer drag racing technology. Old school technology says that if it's fast, it's loud. That's one of the surprising things about the machinery that's being developed for this class. Like stealth in today's military technology, the 10.5 crowd doesn't make much noise as opposed to traditional hot rods, they just go like rockets! It's almost unnerving to see street-legal appearing, relatively quite cars that are dancing around the 200 mile-per-hour mark on a regular basis. One really has to appreciate the engineering that goes into one of these slick machines. Can you say fassssst?

Drag Radial 2010

Sponsored by A.J. Door
Associate Sponsors: Advanced Chassis , Performance Appliance Repair, Dyno Graphix , and Bryan Ford
2009 FC Drag Radial

DRAG RADIAL is one of the few classes in the Friday Night Chaos series to run on the quarter-mile. Sponsored by A. J. Door, this class was one that was intended for a somewhat controlled racing class, but judging by the numbers, that’s not what happened! Trap speeds in the 190 mile-per-hour range indicate that limiting the drive tires didn’t limit the racers innovative abilities. We’re expecting some wild performance figures from this crowd in 2010. These guys are just one more reason to make sure your in the stands for this Friday night series.

Street Assassin 2010

STREET ASSASSIN is the other quarter-mile class in the Friday Night Chaos series. This was intended to be the relative low-buck classification for the Friday night show, but speeds in the 150 mile-per-hour neighborhood and times under the 9-second mark indicate anything but low-buck or low performance. This class has huge potential for expansion in 2010 and we’re looking forward to some further improvement from these racers!
