550 Cars Fire Up for Edelbrock Super Series Doubleheader at Summit Motorsports Park

There were 550 cars in competition for the Edelbrock Super Series doubleheader on May 22 and 23, 2021, at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.
 
That amount amazed an appreciative Summit Motorsports Park staff, as well as fans who were in the stands watching all of the astonishing racing. While all categories ran through completion on May 22, only the Bear Motorsports Junior Dragster presented by Wiseco categories ran through completion on May 23, as rain forced the cancellation of the adult categories after two rounds of eliminations.

On May 22, the Edelbrock Super Pro final featured Chris Bear and Steve Seredich, and Bear, who had a .006 reaction time and a 4.66 elapsed-time, upset Steve Seredich, who was .002 on the starting line and 4.82 on the finish line.

In Edelbrock Pro, Vic Ellinger won with a 6.32 in his Volvo after A.J. Buchanan went -.003 red in his Mustang.
 
Ed James and Jason Keller rode all the way to the Wiseco/Cycle Tech Super Bike final, where James won with an 8.34 against Keller, who turned in a 7.77.
 
James Ring and Cary Gill battled in the Edelbrock Sportsman Delivered on Time by TFC Transportation final, and Ring wrapped up the win with a 12.13 against Gill, who lifted at 16.55.

In Bear Motorsports Advanced Junior Dragster presented by Wiseco, Ryan Roberts won with a 7.94 against Jaden Maze, who recorded an 8.02.
Bear Motorsports Intermediate Junior Dragster presented by Wiseco put the focus on Tyler Sowards, who secured an 8.94 to defeat Brooke Bittle, who collected a timeslip showing a 9.07.

Kendall Moreland managed to defeat Abigail Baehr with a 14.08 to Baehr’s 13.87 in Bear Motorsports Novice Junior Dragster presented by Wiseco.
In Edelbrock Stock, Kenneth Adams won with a 13.43 and a better reaction time than Rick Guenther, who turned in a 15.97.

Ian Burt belted in for the win with a 10.75 against Alexis Faurot, who reeled in an 11.81, in NHRA Junior Street.

On May 23, Caleb Burns defeated Riley Cole with a 7.97 to Cole's 7.91 in Bear Motorsports Advanced Junior Dragster presented by Wiseco.
 
Brooke Bittle won with a 9.15 over Roman Iocoangeli, who turned in an 8.92 in Bear Motorsports Intermediate Junior Dragster presented by Wiseco.
 
Ellieanna Oldenburg took the win with an 11.99 over Abigail Baehr, who drove to a 14.23 in Bear Motorsports Novice Junior Dragster presented by Wiseco.
