Good Evening,
We welcome you back home to Summit Motorsports Park for the 17th Annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals.
I want to take a moment to help explain how we will exit cars on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of our NHRA National Event.
At the conclusion of each race day, we will exit cars from the following parking lots in the following manner:
Linder’s Lot – Located on the South Side of State Route 18
All cars will exit from the west drive of the lot via the same drive you entered. Upon exit, cars will be directed to travel west on State Route 18. Traveling westbound on State Route 18 provides direct access to the State Route 18/20 Bypass along with access to State Route 250 North which will take you to the Ohio Turnpike (East/West).
NEW THIS YEAR (For Friday, Saturday and Sunday once racing ends)
Wilson’s Lot – Located on the North Side of State Route 18
Due to its size, Wilson’s Lot, located on the north side of State Route 18, will enjoy the benefit of exiting from both the south as well as the north end of the 50 acre lot.
Cars will be parked and pointed in the appropriate exit direction.
If your car is pointed south, you will exit via the same way you entered Wilson’s Lot onto State Route 18 East. The intersection of State Route 18 & 601 will be closed during egress. We are asking guests wishing to access State Route 20 to do so by turning left and the intersection of State Route 18 and Hartland Center Road.
Cars parked pointed north will travel to the north end of Wilson’s parking lot where you will be directed to cross at the northern border of our property, crossing the racetrack and ultimately exiting through the State Route 601 Ohio CAT gate where you will be directed north to the roundabout. Once at the roundabout, you can travel east on State Route 20, travel North on State Route 601 to the Ohio Turnpike or travel west to the State Route 18/20 Bypass.
I recognize the many challenges we face with exiting 10,000+ cars at one time. We work exceedingly hard to minimize wait time, but the reality is, it takes time to empty that many cars all leaving at one time. What I’m asking for is simply your patience during exit.
Please be kind to one another and be safe!
Thank you and God Bless,
Bill Bader Jr.
