There will be games, giveways and more at the rescheduled Thermo-Tec Kids’ Night on July 6 at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.
An array of activities will be offered from 1-4 p.m., with speedy scrambles for pennies and candy, a mountain bike giveaway and a birthday party for the park’s popular and precious mascot Millie Mint with cake, Velvet ice cream and refreshments offered at 4 p.m.
Things will rev up when children are invited to climb into race cars piloted by Summit Motorsports Park drivers for rides at approximately 7 p.m. All of the activities will take place on the Summit side of the park, and while regular park admission fees apply, there’s no additional fee to take part in the Thermo-Tec Kids' Night.
The event is being held in conjunction with the Dornan’s Sales and Service Mid-Season Championship Dinner and Summit Racing Equipment NHRA King of the Track, for which class winners in Edelbrock Super Pro, Edelbrock Pro, Edelbrock Sportsman Delivered on Time by TFC Transportation and Wiseco/Cycle Tech Super Bike will run off for a chance to earn an NHRA Wally trophy, and Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Junior Dragster Challenge, for which class winners will earn an NHRA Wally trophy.
Based in Greenwich, Ohio, Thermo-Tec was started in the late 1980s and offers exhaust and heat insulation products for motorsport, motorcycle, aviation and marine applications. Its products can be found throughout NHRA, NASCAR and other sanctioning bodies.
