Over the years, Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio, has had some of the most entertaining and endearing announcers.
While calling the action and captivating the racers and race fans, their passion for motorsports, and the people who make it a special sport, is clear to see, and is celebrated.
To carry on a tradition of retaining remarkable announcers, Summit Motorsports Park is seeking an additional announcer to work most weekends in 2023 and beyond. The announcer’s schedule would include everything from weekly bracket races to signature events.
The ability to clearly and cleverly communicate information for on-track and off-track action in an ever-changing environment is expected.
As the race days are long, energy and endurance are essential.
“We are looking for someone who embodies the exceptional qualities of our late, and loved, announcer, Skeet Peaco,” said Evan Bader, Summit Motorsports Park Track Manager, who spent years announcing alongside Peaco. “We know those are big shoes to fill, but we also know that there is someone out there who is very passionate about racing, and is perhaps a former racer, who now wants to announce all of the ins and outs of the sport they love.”
Anyone interested in applying for the announcer position should email Evan Bader at ebader@summitmotorsportspark.com.
