Lingenfelter Performance Blue Suede Cruise
Today there may be no more firsts but the memories are alive and well as Summit Motorsports Park. The Fonz, Cunninghams and Elvis are all gone but the cars and Doo-Wop live on.

The Lingenfelter Performance “Blue Suede Cruise”,
The Festival of FUN!

One weekend out of every race season, Summit Motorsports Park transitions back into time for the Lingenfelter Performance Blue Suede Cruise!  Thousands of candy colored hot rods, customs, classics, muscle cars, trick trucks, etc. from the first generation of the automobile up to 1972 will congregate for an entire weekend for the opportunity to “show and tell” about their special rides.  Many will decorate their spaces with all the necessary accessories of the era and may even dress in period correct outfits just to get into the “spirit” of the weekend.  Enthusiast can stroll through the acres of show fields, to reminisce with the participants and maybe even bring home their ‘dream car’.

Registered participants will also have plenty of opportunities to race their ‘hot rods’ down the quarter mile, to see if they are just as fast as they remember.  Race your buddy or race the track!  Fun runs will take place before and after the nostalgia drag racing all three days.  (Note times in the schedule)

Pre-registered Hot Rodders & Racers can download the registrations forms and either fax (419-663-0502) or mail to Summit Motorsports Park, 1300 SR 18, Norwalk OH 44857.  All participants will receive a 2018 Dash Plague!

Phil Dirt & The Dozers is America's premiere "Rock 'N R'olidies" review.  Their nostalgia show encompasses three decades of great music, humor and high energy that will appeal to all ages in attendance.  Sit back, relax and let Phil Dirt & The Dozers take you back to an era when life seemed much simpler!

The concert takes place 'under the stars' Saturday Night at 8 p.m. in front of the Summit Side Grandstands with the dragstrip in the background, setting the stage for the era.  The evening concludes with a flame throwing contest and the neon parade of lights.  But the grand finale...will be our Signature Bader Fireworks!  Our fireworks show is some of the finest pyro you will see in the country, and choreograph to music!

This weekend you will not only be able watch the cars that made drag racing famous, from restored original funny cars and dragsters to mid 60’s style gassers, but will be able to go to the pit areas to talk with the owners to learn more about the history of these awesome machines.

We are fortunate to have the Nostalgia Drag Racing League (NDRL) on property as they bring their championship series to the Lingenfelter Performance Blue Suede Cruise. We also welcome back Gasser Magazine who will be hosting three race classes for our gasser racers, Nostalgia Gas, Competition Gas and new for 2018 Gasser Madness.

The Nostalgia Drag Racing League (NDRL) brings their championship series to the Lingenfelter Performance Blue Suede Cruise.  Racers qualify Friday and Saturday, eliminations will begin at noon on Sunday.

Gasser Magazine is returning to OHIO to support the Lingenfelter Performance “Blue Suede Cruise” by sponsoring a "GASSER Appreciation Race".

The SMOKEY BURNOUT CONTEST returns by poplar demand!  Racing on track Saturday late afternoon will conclude with the famous smokey burnout contest.  Open to hot rodder participants only!  Participants will be paired randomly and the crowd will be the judge as to who had the best burnout.  Note it is NOT neccessary to go til your tire blows, but it does help!

And we will provide the place!  Cruisers Social Hall…is a place to hang out to talk about the 'good ole days', to bench race or simply get out of the sun.  Located at the opposite end of Women's World.  The Vintage Fashion Show on Saturday afternoon will take place here!

Ladies we have a place for you to hang out for the weekend...Vanessa’s Women’s World.  More variety and more vendors,  ranging from jewelry and cosmetics to home decor and health care products.  You should be able to find something you can’t resist.

Start cleaning out your garages to make room for "new" stuff and get registered by either calling our office at 419-668-5555 or download the registration, located below.
