The 26th Hot Rod Power Tour presented by Chevrolet Performance and Driven by Continental kicks off at Summit Motorsports Park Sunday June 7th. More than 6,000 vehicles and 100,000 spectators will follow either the entire tour or attend one of the seven stops making this event the largest traveling car-show in the world!
Schedule:
Sunday June 7: Summit MotorsportsPark (Norwalk OH)
Monday June 8: Montgomery County Fairgrounds (Dayton OH)
Tuesday June 9: Indianapolis Motor Speedway (Indianapolis IN)
Wednesday June 10: World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway (St Louis, MO)
Thursday June 11: State Farm Center (Champaign IL)
Friday June 12: Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds (Davenport IA)
Saturday June 13: Alliant Energy Center (Madison WI)
Gearheads can join in at any point along the way; the exclusive Long Haulers includes the people who take the entire Power Tour route along with the staff of HOT ROD. Participants can sightsee, explore, and show off their cars in towns along the way and in each participating city, hordes of local spectators will take part in the event as well as they welcome the massive Power Tour cruise to their city!
Any car or truck owner who wants to join the tour is welcome! Any year, make or model vehicle accepted! This is a ‘driving tour’, but if a car must be trailered, it is permitted. However, there is NO trailer parking at any of the venues and the registered vehicle must be driven into and out of the venue under its own power!
Directions to each city will be posted at HotRod.com/events so participants and fans can follow, or you may choose to take the road less traveled if you want to do your own sight-seeing. Following the route ensures you are part of the world’s biggest rolling car show!
Want to know who the participants are? Hot Rod Magazine’s Facebook page will be a great resource to connect with fellow Tour participants, ask questions and get the ins and outs from Power Tour veterans.
Parking for registered cars will be included in your vehicle registration. Gold Club and Platinum Club participants will have dedicated priority parking. Spectator parking will be announced 2 months before the tour begins. (Any time!)
Registered participants will get the opportunity to make unlimited number of ‘fun runs’ down the legendary Summit Motorsports Park dragstrip!
