What our fans think of the Night Under Fire
“This was my 5th Night Under Fire and it was awesome.  How you put on a fantastic show year after year is short of amazing.  My wife and I make it over 2 to 3 times a year.  You all run a great facility.  We love coming to the track and look forward to it every year.  It is truly a fan friendly track.” - Todd Brest

"The fireworks display was beyond compare, it seems to get better each year. There were a lot of young children sitting around me and I had just as much fun watching the smiles on their faces as I did the racing." - Tim Stanislo

"I cannot express how great of an experience we had being there. It was amazing!!! I say that on behalf of us all and we cannot wait to come back again." - Patrice Riedel

"My family had such a great time, they're talking about next year already!  What a great time they had while making memories for a life time." - Lori Carver

It’s the one race we promise to overload all of your senses.
If you do not experience one or more of the following …..

  • Heart beating rapidly, feels like it could propel through your chest from the vibrations
  • Eyes watering from the nitro methane in the air
  • Ears ringing from the roar of the engines
  • Nose burning from the smoky burnouts and fumes
  • Stomach full from eating all the Velvet ice cream, burgers, fries you could stand

Then we need to call 911 immediately…you’ve stopped breathing!

Our Now famous 2012 Auto Plus Night Under Fire Commerical

American Pride Die Cast Car On Sale Now!

The American Pride Car, tenth in a series of die cast cars is available on sale NOW.  Only 1,500 “American Pride” 1/24th scale collector grade cars have been produced and are on sale for $110.  However, if you act now, you can purchase this rare car for only $100!  (Click Here to purchase)

The cars will be available for pick-up August 11, 2012 at the 35th Annual Auto Plus Night Under Fire, where John Force will race the "American Pride" Fuel Funny Car.

The rich tradition began in 2002 when Summit Motorsports Park celebrated its 40th anniversary with a car entitled, "The Norwalk Experience." Other styles over the years included a specially designed Halloween car, a "Tribute to an American Soldier" car, a special edition Christmas car, and in 2010, the"American War Bird," depicting a P51 Mustang, said Bader.

Bill Bader Jr. creates the concept and the name.

"These cars have been started from ideas that came out of this office," Bader said.

The Baders and John Force contracted with Lionel Collectibles for this highly unique and exclusive offering, Bader said.

"We are the only track John does this type of program with," Bader said. "The die-cast program has been successful for us."

Since 2002, Summit Motorsports Park has presented a die cast car every year except 2011, said Bader.

The "American Pride" Fuel Funny Car was unveiled before a packed house at the 6th Annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals, as part of the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series at Summit Motorsports Park.

The "American Pride" Fuel Funny Car body will be displayed at Summit Motorsports Park until August, Bader said.

Then catch history in the making as John Force races the car Saturday, Aug. 11at the 35th Annual Auto Plus Night Under Fire at Summit Motorsports Park.

Also, 24 ultra rare and limited edition 1/24th scale White Gold cars are offered at $500 each, said Bader.

"Ring of Fire" Pyro Show sponsored by R&R Auto BodyR&R Auto Body sponsors the Night Under Fire fireworks show.

Lots of cheering could be heard throughout the race park, as we kicked off our new “Ring of Fire” fire works show with gas bombs and a spray of pyro along the concrete walls of the drag strip, as the Pledge of Allegiance to this great Nation was recited by school age children.  We expect more of the same reaction and can’t wait to show you the R&R Auto Body sponsored Torch’s “Ring of Fire” creation for this year.  All of which should certainly excite the senses!
