Titus Performance Cleveland Shootout Added to Fun Ford Reloaded 2

The Titus Performance Cleveland Shootout has been added to an already action-packed Trick Flow Specialties Fun Ford Reloaded 2 at Summit Motorsports Park.

The event specially designed for Ford fans is July 7-9, 2017, and the Titus Performance Cleveland Shootout, open to competitors in all categories who run a Cleveland engine built around a Cleveland block, will take place during time-trials on July 8.

The driver with the quickest elapsed-time will receive $300 and a trophy from Titus Performance, while the second place finisher will receive $200 and a trophy and the third place finisher will receive $100 and a trophy.

Drivers who want to be included should visit the Titus Performance display prior to time-trials to request that one of the company’s tech inspectors visit their pit area to verify that their engine qualifies, and to receive the decals to be displayed on their vehicles. Then, drivers should return to the Titus Performance display with their timeslips.

In addition to the Titus Performance Cleveland Shootout, the company will host a reception, 5-7 p.m. July 8, in its display area.

“Because Summit Motorsports Park is so close to Cleveland, we thought Cleveland engine enthusiasts would appreciate the Titus Performance Cleveland Shootout being held there,” said Heather McKeown, who, with her husband Mark McKeown, owns Titus Performance, which is based in Maryland and manufactures iron and aluminum Cleveland engine blocks and components.

Fun Ford Reloaded 2 categories include Frantic Four, Quick 16, True Street, Fast Ford, Quick Ford, Street Ford, Nostalgia Ford, Box Ford, No Box Ford, Gallup for the Gold and Y-Block Shootout. The event also will feature a swap meet, manufacturers’ midway and the Trick Flow Specialties King Ford Feast, which recognizes Brian Foecking, who was crowned King Ford after winning last year’s multi-class runoff.

Summit Motorsports Park is at 1300 State Route 18, Norwalk, Ohio. For information, call 419-668-5555 or visit www.summitmotorsportspark.com.
