R & R Auto Body gave Finish Line Club racers, who competed in the Mr. Gasket Super Series during the 2013 season, the chance to have their race vehicle (car, dragster or motorcycle) painted for FREE!
To win the custom paint job, a racer must have the best overall score factoring in reaction time, and their dial-in versus actual E.T. And, a racer must have a minimum of 15 rounds to have his/her score considered. Only fouls and red light rounds do not count. Failing to submit eligible runs is grounds for disqualification in the “Paint My Ride” Program.
This year’s winner, Nick Akoury, came from the Mallory Super Pro class. Akoury’s 1968 Camaro will be given a “whole new attitude” for the 2014 campaign. To say Akoury was excited about winning the “Paint My Ride” contest would be an understatement. “I know this could not have happened with out the support of R& R Auto Body and Summit Motorsports Park, so a big thanks to them first. I am ready to get this project going, the whole car will be totally different next season inside and out, said Akoury.”
The unveiling of new “paint job” will take place during the 2013 Mr. Gasket Banquet of Champions, which will be held at Kalahari Resorts in Sandusky, Oh, January 24-26th.
You can follow the progress of Nick’s car on Facebook – Roemer Motorsports, which is the custom side of the R & R Auto Body’s Business.
