As part of the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League banquet on Oct. 30, 2011 at the Marriott Downtown in Louisville, Kentucky, Summit Motorsports Park president Bill Bader Jr. announced that the park will host a highly anticipated, and yet to be named, event for the series on July 21-23, 2022.

"The fact that we are covering our legendary quarter-mile in dirt for that weekend is exciting, and I'm grateful to be the host facility for this event," said Bader Jr. "We are going to take everything we have learned in the past fifty-plus years and apply it so that we can have the best pull in the country."

Information will be added to Summit Motorsports Park’s website soon, and tickets will go on sale in the next sixty days.
