For over five decades, the annual Halloween Classic at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio, has been the exhilarating finale of the drag racing season and the undisputed "World's Largest Halloween Party."  

What started as a simple end-of-year race has exploded into a week-long, $100,000+ purse extravaganza where the roar of high-performance engines mixes with spine-chilling screams of fun.  

As 2026 marks its 52nd running, this beloved tradition continues to unite the racing community, transforming the entire park into a haunted, high-octane spectacle.  Racers and fans alike fully embrace the spirit, fiercely competing for the coveted "Classic Gremlin Trophy" on the track, while simultaneously decking out their pit areas and rigs in elaborate, jaw-dropping Halloween themes—from "Haunted Wizard of Oz" to post-apocalyptic "Mad Max" settings.  The party peaks with the legendary Dart Machinery "Fright Night," featuring the "Bumper-Draggin' Air Show" wheelie contest, massive trick-or-treating with over a thousand treat stations, and wild costume contests for both kids and adults, cementing its reputation as a time-honored blend of competition and chaotic, costumed camaraderie.
