Edelbrock Super Series Flex-Schedule Explanation:
This was explained during multiple events in 2025 as well as at the Edelbrock Banquet this past January. That said, due to ongoing confusion, I explain how it works below.
Managing weather in the Midwest is always a gamble, and the flex-schedule is designed to put the odds back in your favor. To help clear up the confusion, here is a breakdown of how the program works and why it was implemented.
The flex-schedule was created to ensure you get to race. We’ve all experienced those weekends where Saturday is a washout, only to see Sunday turn into a beautiful, sunny day while the track sits empty. This policy allows us to evaluate the weekend forecast in real-time and choose the single best day to host our Edelbrock Super Series event.
Instead of being locked into a rigid Saturday-only schedule, we treat the entire weekend as a "racing window."
In the days leading up to the event, we will monitor the weather closely. We will designate either Saturday or Sunday as the primary race day based on which day offers the most favorable conditions (precipitation risk, temperature, etc.). Once the day (Saturday or Sunday) is declared, it cannot be changed. PERIOD. We will announce the "Best Racing Day" via our website and social media channels by no later than Friday morning at 9:00am of race weekend, this will allow for travel and preparation.
This flex-schedule concept is currently in effect for our April, May, and June Edelbrock Super Series events. Since spring weather is notoriously unpredictable, this flexibility allows us to maximize your track time and protect your investment in travel.
Thank you!
Bill
